Our Story
Joshua Christian Ministries is a non-denominational, Word of Faith Community Church. Our fundamental teachings are in the areas of Fear of the Lord, Faith, Worship, Holiness, Renewing the Mind, Kingdom Economics [Tithes, Offerings & Partnerships] and Healing.
Racial Reconciliation (Acts 17:26),
Biblical Education (2 Peter 3:18; 2 Timothy 2:15); and,
Prosperity Manifestation [Spirit, Soul, Body, Social & Financial] (John 10:10; 3 John 1:4)

Statement Of Faith
The Holy Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired, infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God.
Man and Salvation
That man is sinful by nature and that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential and an absolute necessity for his salvation.
Spiritual Unity
In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
The Ordinances
In Water Baptism and Observance of the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion).
The One True God
There is one, true God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
The Ministry of the Holy Spirit
In the continuing ministry of the Holy Spirit who indwells and empowers the Christian to live a godly life.
Creation
We believe in the creation of man by the direct and divine act of God.
Divine Provision
It is God’s Will that every believer prospers and has good health.
The Lord Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ—His birth, sacrifice, resurrection, and return in glory.
Eternity
In the resurrection of both the saved and the LOST; they who are SAVED unto eternal life and they who are LOST unto eternal damnation.
Mediation
Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man
The Church
The Church includes all who have received Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
Divine providence creates timing for a Vietnam veteran and retired firefighter. And in the fullness of time, Apostle Arthur L. McGuire, Sr. founded Joshua Christian Ministries on September 10, 2000. This non-denominational, Word of Faith ministry’s goal is to bring people into a vital, loving relationship with the one true and living God in Jesus Christ. So, as believers, they can be who God wants them to be; do what God wants them to do and have what God wants them to have according to his word. Thereby, they will come to know the very purpose and destiny for which they were born, and be a blessing and a witness within their sphere of influence of the love of Christ.
CHARLOTTE McGUIRE, spiritual, prophetic, visionary, intercessor, encourager, tenacious, gifted teacher and executive are a few words that describes this woman of faith. She has been blessed to minister the word of God on national and international level. As she always says, “I love Jesus, yes I do!”
In 2011, on a word from God, Charlotte left her career by faith to enter full-time ministry. She joined her husband in Kingdom service at Joshua Christian Ministries, Kettering, Ohio.
In 2017, Charlotte was appointed by the Governor of Ohio to State Board of Education. She represents District 3. She was elected in 2018, re-elected in 2020 and has served as its President and Vice President. Charlotte has 40+ years of executive leadership experience in city government and non-profit sectors. She has been and is a voice for vulnerable populations.
